Ísólfur works as a riding instructor at Hólar University. In 2013 Ísólfur was chosen rider of the year in the Gæðinga class by LH (The Icelandic Association of Equestrianism). Ísólfur is the Assistant coach of the Icelandic National horse Team
Ísólfur is dedicated horse trainer and in his lessons points out strategies for positive and purposeful communication with the horse.
Ísólfur has been giving lessons and demonstration all over the world to teach riders at all levels how to improve and understand the behaviour of the horse.
